Tragedy in Kakamega: Wife and Three Children Allegedly Kill Husband After Domestic Dispute
A quiet evening in Shinyalu, Kakamega, turned tragic after a family altercation ended with the death of a man, Magnos Lumiti, allegedly at the hands of his wife, Olivia Shitsiali, and their three children.
According to reports, Lumiti confronted Shitsiali about her late return home, an exchange that escalated into deadly violence. Witnesses and relatives claim Shitsiali struck Lumiti on the head during the argument, knocking him unconscious. Shockingly, their three children reportedly joined in the assault, resulting in Lumiti’s death.
“We’ve warned her many times,” a grieving relative told local reporters. “She keeps walking around at odd hours. Our uncle is now dead because of her.”
The tragedy has left the extended family reeling. They have firmly banned Shitsiali from ever returning to the family homestead, citing her alleged role in Lumiti’s death. Now, they are appealing to the government to intervene and deliver justice.
“We are pleading with the authorities,” said another family member. “Our future looks bleak without him. Our in-law refused to explain where she was coming from that night.”
As investigations continue, the community remains in shock at the brutal turn of events.
