Safaricom Announces Job Openings for Kenyan Professionals in July 2025
Kenya’s leading telecommunications company, Safaricom, has announced multiple job openings across several departments, inviting qualified professionals to apply via its online recruitment portal.
The company, led by CEO Peter Ndegwa, is seeking to fill key positions in human resource management, financial technology, cyber security, and product development through a transparent and competitive application process.

Available Vacancies
1. Human Resource IT Lead
Responsible for enhancing the Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and supporting the automation of HR activities.
- Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in HRIS or HR technology implementation. Proficiency in Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud is essential.
2. CoE Lead, Fintech Systems
Tasked with steering strategic fintech initiatives aligned with group goals.
- Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years’ experience, including at least 3 years in senior leadership.
3. Tribe Lead – Credit
Will lead a specialized team focused on developing and managing credit-related products and services.
- Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field. At least 8 years of experience in credit services, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
4. M-Pesa Africa Product Manager – Payment Remittance
Oversees product strategy and development for M-Pesa’s payment remittance services under a scaled agile framework.
- Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or engineering. A master’s degree is an added advantage.
5. M-Pesa Africa Cyber Security – Evergreen Application (Multiple Roles)
Safaricom is also recruiting several cyber security specialists, including:
