KRA Announces Major Recruitment Drive for Commissioners and Managers
The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has launched an extensive recruitment campaign targeting top leadership and management roles, as part of its long-term strategy to enhance service delivery and build a more efficient, skilled, and adaptable workforce.
In a public statement issued Monday morning, the tax agency said it is seeking to fill multiple senior-level positions including three commissioner roles, twelve deputy commissioner posts, and several managerial vacancies.
“This reflects the Authority’s commitment to attracting a diverse and highly qualified pool of candidates in support of its mandate to drive national development through effective revenue mobilization,” the statement read in part.
The recruitment drive comes amid a broader restructuring process within KRA designed to realign its organizational structure to better address institutional challenges and future growth demands.
“The restructuring aims to address both current and future institutional needs by enhancing workforce flexibility, operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation,” KRA added.
With a current workforce of over 9,000 employees, KRA said the transformation will improve its ability to manage the increasing complexity of tax administration and consistently deliver high-quality, responsive services to taxpayers.
The authority also emphasized that the recruitment process will be merit-based and transparent, to ensure the highest standards of integrity and fairness are upheld.
The public and interested applicants are encouraged to visit the official KRA website for detailed job descriptions and application procedures.
