Kenya Power has released a notice announcing planned electricity interruptions on Sunday, July 13, 2025, in select regions across seven counties. The scheduled outages are part of a nationwide maintenance programme aimed at enhancing the reliability of power supply.

Power will be interrupted from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Kaaga, Kithoka, and Nkoune. Key affected institutions and landmarks include:

- Magunas

- Kithoka Ripples
- Kaithe Market

Mombasa County:
Two separate outages are scheduled:

Residents of Karatina Town and Karindundu will experience a blackout from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Affected facilities include:

- Kirigu Catholic Church
Kisumu County:
Outages are scheduled for:
- Sondu Market (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM): Sondu Town, Nyakachi Girls School
- Ombeyi (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM): Ombeyi Market, Mayfair Bakery
Siaya County:
A brief outage from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM will affect:

Busia County:
Scheduled blackout from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM will impact:
