‘If I Die…’ Gachagua’s Secret Letter to His Supporters Sparks Political Storm

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has dropped a political bombshell, revealing that he has written a confidential letter to his community, providing guidance on navigating the country’s volatile political landscape should anything happen to him.

Speaking on Kameme FM on Monday, Gachagua stated that the letter, currently in the custody of his lawyers, contains crucial directives on leadership and strategy in the event of his untimely demise.

A Chilling Warning

“I cannot sit here and assume I will live forever. This government has already sent thugs to kill me in Limuru,” he alleged. “If I had died then, who would have guided my community?”

Gachagua further claimed that government operatives had previously disrupted a funeral he attended in Limuru, reinforcing his concerns for his safety.

“As a practical man, I have taken precautions. The letter I have written to my community contains specific instructions and will be made public should these people succeed in their attempts against me,” he stated.

What’s in the Letter?

The former DP hinted that the letter outlines a long-term political roadmap, detailing how his community should conduct itself in the political arena, the challenges they may face, and the best strategies for ensuring stability.

“I see what is happening, and it is important to be prepared. I may not be here tomorrow, and if they succeed in eliminating me, my community must know the path forward,” he warned.

The Bigger Picture: A Legacy in the Making

Gachagua emphasized that his ultimate mission is to establish a long-term political structure that will serve his people for the next 50 years.

“If my people support me, I will plan out a succession strategy and establish a strong political party to safeguard our interests. I don’t have to lead, but if I can provide my people with a solid political foundation and competent leaders, I will have fulfilled my mission.”

Political Reactions & Unanswered Questions

Gachagua’s revelation has ignited debate across the political spectrum, with critics questioning the validity of his claims and supporters rallying behind him. The existence of the letter raises key questions: What exactly does it say? Who are the leaders he is grooming? And will it be revealed in due time?

As the country watches closely, one thing is certain—Gachagua’s words have set the stage for a new chapter in Kenya’s political drama.
