Woman Allegedly Hacks Husband to Death After Dispute Over Milk Money

A 59-year-old woman is being sought by authorities after allegedly killing her 62-year-old husband during a dispute over milk, in a case that has shocked residents in their neighbourhood.

According to NTV, the woman allegedly attacked the man with a panga, leaving him with fatal injuries. A blood-stained shirt remained in the compound, highlighting the brutality of the incident.

The couple’s daughter, Praxides, claimed her mother launched the attack after accusing her father of taking milk and using the proceeds to drink alcohol and enjoy himself.

“Our father was not a bad person, and we understand him, woman is ever fighting, and she looks down on people. My father never used to fight like my mother,” said one of their daughters.

A neighbour described the deceased as a man who earned a living through small-scale business activities around his home. He said the 62-year-old had bought a pump that he used to treat animals and also sold milk to support himself.

According to the neighbour, the man would often spend the money he earned on leisure after finishing work for the day.

“He would go have fun but never attack anybody,” he said.

The area chief revealed that the couple’s domestic disagreements had previously been brought before his office, where efforts were made to reconcile them alongside other family members.

“They recoiled and even shook hands and said that they were going to live in harmony back at home,” he said.

The reconciliation, however, failed to prevent the fatal incident, and the woman is now on the run as authorities continue searching for her following the alleged killing.
