Former Rarieda constituency member of the national assembly Hon Raphael Tuju has come out to take immediate action after independent electoral and boundaries commission (IEBC) chairperson Wafula Chebukati made serious allegations about him.
According to multiple media reports, Tuju will finally hit back at the revelations by Chebukati in an interview that he has scheduled for 2.30 pm today according to a communique delivered to newsrooms. He will clarify his side of the story.
“Raphael Tuju, Azimio la Umoja Executive Director, is expected to give a press conference today at 2:30 PM to respond to allegations made against him by a section of IEBC commissioners in their affidavits,” TV47 reported.
At the same time, Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party chief Raila Odinga holds that he is the person who won the just concluded general elections and not president-elect Dr. William Ruto. He was speaking at a church in Kibera where he attended a church service.
“I am pretty sure I won. I will stand firm. I will not be shaken and the will of the people as expressed on the 9th of August to be respected,” Raila maintained.
