In a cryptic and indirect statement, former Machakos county governor Hon Alfred Mutua has come out to finally react to the revelations made by the independent electoral and boundaries commission (IEBC) chairperson Wafula Chebukati and other IEBC officials in the presidential petition at the supreme court.
In a cleverly worded statement, Mutua compared the demands made by some functionaries in government on the day of the announcement of presidential results as alleged by Chebukati and Prof Guliye Abdi as treasonous.
He says that he has also watched videos of people he know as they attempted to instill a coup even as he also claimed that he has also listened to an audio which he terms as dangerous. He threatened to release the clips which he compares to a movie in the fullness of time.
“I heard of treasonous demands somewhere (Tuju, Amos Wako etc), I listened to dangerous audio. I also watched videos of faces I know as they attempted a coup. This is a movie that I will release soon,” Mutua stated in a message slightly paraphrased by this writer.
