Wafula Chebukati, the director of the Free Constituent and Limit Commission, recently stated that 1.18 million citizens will be removed from the registry. This comes after representative president William Ruto sued the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for allegedly erasing more than 1,000,000 votes.
According to the IEBC’s confirmations, the electors who the body intends to remove are ghost citizens who aren’t even alive in the country. It is clear that the chances of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party framing the next government, which will be led by Raila, are currently far better than the Kenya Kwanza alliance party led by Ruto.
