IKO LOVE? Former KTN Anchor Edith Kimani Gushes Over Larry Madowo Online

Just few hours ago celebrated Kenyan journalist-cum-CNN International Correspondent Larry Madowo celebrated his birthday as he turned a year older.  Born on the 14th of July 1987 the hunk officially turned 34-years-old, and he marked the special day with a low-key dinner that was attended by close friends among them fellow journalists. Among those in attendance were BBC journalist Ian Wafula, Deutsche Welle (DW) news anchor Edith Kimani and Citizen TV’s Kimani Mbugua among others.

Among those in attendance were BBC journalist Ian Wafula, Deutsche Welle (DW) news anchor Edith Kimani and Citizen TV’s Kimani Mbugua among others.  However while many of Larry Madowo’s followers took online to pen him some sweet birthday messages, also Edith Kimani penned hers. Taking to her Instagram account, the sassy queen reminisced of all the previous times that she has met the CNN International Correspondent all over the world via photos.

She gushed over Larry Madowo’s looks also in her caption. ” Paris. Berlin. Nairobi. We’ve got more undocumented adventures all over the world. How lucky I am to enjoy a life shared with a friend. My happy, incredibly gifted, ABSOLUTELY A HOT FRIEND?!!! Surely a new year for you, is a gift for us. Live long, stay strong, fight hard. Do what you must to be you. We look up to it. Yes-even your friends. Happy birthday Schatz.”

The heartwarming post quickly elicited reactions from netizens, who urged them to date as they are both not yet married.

Edith Kimani and Larry Madowo are arguably one of Kenya’s top journalists.

The former began her career at the Standard Group-Owned station KTN, and later joined DW to be the East African Correspondent.

She was then promoted to be a news anchor and is famous for her youth show dubbed ‘The 77 Percent’.

Meanwhile Larry Madowo has worked at several top media houses. He began at KTN as a trainee reporter, then moved on to NTV and worked as a business anchor.

The hunk also worked at CNBC Africa before returning to NTV again where worked for sometime, before joining BBC in March 2018.
