DP Ruto’s Secret Plan to Bring Down Hassan Joho Leaks

Deputy president William Ruto is secretly planning to destroy the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party empire in Mombasa county and coast region at large, new revelations indicate.

In an interview with The Nation, William Ruto’s pointman in the Coastal region Mohamed Ali who is the member of parliament for Nyali Constituency has indicated that the second in command is secretly galvanizing support to orchestrate a coup de tat on ODM party in the coast, a Region perceived to be Joho’s Political stronghold.

In a well calculated move, Ruto is said to be engaging in secret talks with Joho’s MCAs at the coast in a plan to surprise him with a deadly political move in the near future that will leave him an empty shell of a party.

“They are just biding their time. We have a good number of elected MCAs who are talking to us. In 2022, just like we did in Msambweni, we will pull a fast one on ODM and its key point men — including Governor Hassan Joho,” Mohamed Ali said.

Even though, the coast region has other influential leaders, it is perceived that the Mombasa governor pulls the shots and is the undisputed kingpin who controls the political direction of the coastal region. If the plan by Ruto succeeds, it will be the end to Joho – ODM three-decade dominance in the region.
