Kenyans Angered As State House Deletes This DP Ruto’s Photo With The Most Likes

Probably expected, just like how it has been on many other numerous occasions in the past where whenever posts are shared on Facebook by the ‘State House’ account with photos of Deputy President William Ruto being part of the posted post, his (DP) photo(s) normally end up getting the most likes with respect to those of other dignitaries highlighted together. The same, this was the case when State House shared on Facebook, photos of Simeon Nyachae’s funeral on February 15th this year and it also happened this year on June 1st in the aftermath of the Madaraka Day celebrations in Kisumu County.

As seen in the aftermath of this given celebration, the office of the President posted an update on their Facebook to summarize what notable leaders said at the ceremony that was held at the Jomo Kenyatta International Stadium in Kisumu County, and DP William Ruto’s photo was among those that were shared. The screenshot here shows that in just eleven minutes the DP Ruto’s photo had already gathered over 1.1K likes surpassing that of Raila Odinga, Prof Anyang’ Nyong’o, and even the main post.

Then a few minutes later the photo was deleted by the admin then the post underwent some clear editing. It took a few minutes before the DP’s photo was reposted, but this time it had been put together with that of ODM leader Hon. Raila Odinga and Kisumu Governor Hon. Anyang’ Nyong’o as seen in the post. The clear editing that just left many Kenyans wondering and confused as well as angered, making some of them to take to the comments section to express their disappointment and laugh it off as seen. It may indicate something that we all as Kenyans can relate to. Or probably the admin was doing their work as commanded by their employer or maybe was an error.
