Gone Too Soon: Former Omo-Pick-A-Box Presenter Lorna Irungu Succumbs To Covid-19

Lorna Irungu was a beautiful soul and if I am not wrong, many remember her from the famous Omo-Pick-A-Box where she hosted the show. Being in the media industry – the lass landed a job with NTV where she was a presenter at Easy FM (Nation FM Radio). Many loved her sweet voice and bubbly personality that left most of her fans looking forward to her radio show. However, after calling it quits at the station Lorna moved to a different career; and from the report shared online – Lorna was the Managing Director of a PR company, Gina Din Group before her untimely death.

Word making rounds on social is that the late media personality passed on due to Covid 19, and other underlying issues – as she was battling kidney complications and lupus. Lorna becomes the 3rd media personality to succumb to Covid-19 as radio news presenter Robin Njuhi; and former NTV news anchor Winnie Mukami who passed on recently following Covid-19. Lorna has left behind a loving husband and daughter as reported by those who knew her closely. We from the Ghafla team send our heartfelt to the family of the departed media personality.
